I can now ping the host ip of my vlan, but still no dhcp. First of all, the port connecting to pfsense needs to be set to tagged. What i cannot do is get dhcp through any of the vlans.
Either select allow all or use custom to define which id's should be included.
The same is true for the port. I’ve gained access to create a vlan with a matching tag and trunk ports between the router and my nearby switches. I tried several configurations but end result is self assigned ips. Seem like the dhcp does not apply for some reason, and hence no interest available.
